Coffy is a modern coffee chain that offers high-quality coffee at a fixed price at all times. Coffy has extended this vision to its mobile app aiming to provide its users with a simple, accessible and fast coffee experience.
Coffy didn’t want to limit the fast, accessible and fixed-price coffee experience to just physical stores. As user expectations grow in an increasingly digital world, Coffy’s mobile app was reimagined to keep up with this transformation.
The existing mobile app had become insufficient in meeting user needs. Visual clutter of the interface, inconsistencies in user flows and inadequate feedback mechanisms negatively affected the overall user experience. Core functionalities; the payment process, accessing product details and the reservation system posed challenges that leads to lower conversion rates.
We at VOYA relaunched the design process by reshaping it through UX strategy based on these problems with comprehensive user interviews, prototype testing and competitor analysis. Throughout the project, we conducted in-depth interviews with users from different segments to analyze their problems, expectations and behavior patterns related to the current app.
In light of the insights gathered, user flows were rebuilt from the ground up. The new app was structured to ensure that users could access their most common tasks (placing orders, browsing products, making payments and booking reservations) with minimal steps. The prototypes developed during the design process were continuously tested with real users and improved accordingly. This iterative process resulted in a user-friendly experience aligned with both brand values and user expectations.
In this project we collabrated with Coffy, we revisited the user interface and user experience design processes of the mobile app.
As part of this, we thoroughly analyzed user needs and created a modern, functional and user-friendly interface design. Our user experience strategy focused on ease of ordering, completing tasks with minimal taps and simple navigation principles. In particular, user experience issues that identified in the previous version of the app were analyzed and completely resolved in the new version.

After the app was launched, user feedback was analyzed to identify missing or improvable areas. Based on these insights, improvements were made to the interface and functionality, and new features were added. The entire process focused on continuously enhancing the user experience.

With the redesign the new Coffy app leaves behind the complex interface structure of the previous version. Cluttered visual hierarchy, distracting icons and unclear information flow from the old design have been replaced with a simple, modern and user-centered structure.

Coffy users can either place an immediate coffee order or skip busy hours and schedule an appointment for a later time. The appointment system provides a time-saving experience, especially in high-traffic stores.
In the old design, branch information was presented in lists, making location and distance details difficult to understand and access. The lack of visual hierarchy and the cluttered text structure failed to guide users effectively in making their choices.
